Jordan and
Iraq discussed
important security matters related to military cooperation and border security
between the two neighboring countries, Al-Mamlaka TV said.

It said discussions were held between Maj. Gen Yousef
Al-Huneiti, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Abdul Amir Rashid
Yarallah, Iraq’s Army Chief of Staff. The Iraqi, accompanied by a military
delegation, stopped over at Queen Alia International Airport on his way to
Britain.
Hunaiti discussed with Yarallah “many urgent and
important security files related to military cooperation and border security
between the two countries,” Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
It said other issues included the latest developments on
the regional and international arenas, aspects of cooperation and ways to
enhance bilateral relations to serve the interests of the armed forces in both
countries.
