Jordanian Parliament Speaker Commends Armed Forces for Helping Gaza
Amman– Jordan’s Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Al-Safadi, praised the role of the Jordanian Armed Forces in assisting the people of Gaza, fulfilling their duty towards them in accordance with the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II.اضافة اعلان

In a statement at the beginning of the House of Representatives’ session on Monday, Al-Safadi said that the valiant army’s hands of generosity have been extending help and support to their Palestinian brothers.

He noted that last week, a team from the Jordanian Field Hospital 5 arrived south of Gaza to perform its humanitarian and medical duties and alleviate the suffering of the people in the sector.

He explained that the medical teams and 17 trucks carrying medical, therapeutic, and relief supplies were sent to support the field hospital, which offers various medical specialties through well-trained and qualified specialized teams.

Additionally, 23 trucks carrying construction materials were dispatched to establish the first phase of the "Obstetrics and Neonatal Care" field hospital in Khan Younis.

Al-Safadi emphasized that the 126-person medical, nursing, and administrative team at the field hospital began taking the necessary steps and preparations to carry out their duties effectively and started preparations to receive the people of Gaza.

He expressed the pride and gratitude of the Jordanian people for the efforts of His Majesty the King, the Armed Forces, and the security agencies.

Al-Safadi extended a message of pride and reverence on behalf of the House of Representatives and the Jordanian people to His Majesty the King, the field hospital team, and all members of the Jordanian Army and security personnel.

He also conveyed his thanks and appreciation to the heroes of the Jordanian Field Hospital team south of Gaza, who returned to Jordan after fulfilling their medical and humanitarian duty towards the people of Gaza.
