AMMAN — The work of the Jordanian-Romanian Agricultural Technical Committee was launched on Wednesday at the Ministry of Agriculture, headed by the Minister of Agriculture, Khaled Al-Hanaifat, and the Romanian Minister of Agriculture, Adrian Chesnoiu, according to Ammon News.

The meeting was in the presence of members of the committees from both countries, which included secretaries-general in the ministries and the Romanian ambassador to the Kingdom.
Hanaifat stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations in line with enhancing cooperation in the agricultural field, increasing cooperation in the trade balance, and giving Jordan a priority in Romania’s imports of seeds and fertilizers, in addition to the priority of exports of Jordanian vegetables and fruits in the Romanian markets during the winter.
Chesnoiu stressed the depth of Jordanian-Romanian relations and the importance of this committee in developing the trade relationship, raising the trade balance to serve the two countries, and overcoming any obstacles related to exports.
Several memoranda of understanding related to joint cooperation were signed, and the committee's work continues to find out the most important issues of concern to the two countries.
