Ambassador Sufyan Al-Qudah, the spokesperson for the ministry, confirmed that the families of the two victims have been contacted. The injured brother is reportedly in a coma and is currently receiving treatment at the Baptist Hospital in the besieged enclave.
The statement explicitly holds the Israeli government "fully responsible" for the safety of all Jordanian citizens who have chosen to remain in Gaza. According to the ministry's records as of November 20, there were 741 Jordanian nationals still present in Gaza.
