WEST BANK — Sheikh Azzam Al-Khatib, the Director of the
Jerusalem Waqf and Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs Department, announced the successful
opening of the revered Al-Aqsa Mosque for worshippers during the holy month of
Ramadan, thanks to Jordanian efforts under royal directives. Despite previous
restrictions imposed by the Israeli occupation, the mosque is now accessible
for peaceful worship and Quranic recitation.

Khatib highlighted the pivotal role of guidance from His
Majesty in facilitating the opening of Al-Aqsa Mosque to all worshippers,
enabling them to engage in worship and spiritual reflection freely. However,
challenges persist due to the ongoing Israeli occupation, Al-Mamlaka TV
reported.
Arrangements managed by the Jerusalem Waqf are progressing
smoothly. They encompass provisions for iftar meals, worshippers' reception,
and religious lessons.
