AMMAN — According to preliminary data issued by the
Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) on Tuesday, the remittances of
Jordanian expatriates increased by 2.1 percent during December 2023, compared to the same month in
2022, reaching $326.1 million (JD231.2 million).

During 2023, the
remittances increased by 1.4 percent,
reaching $3.5017 billion (JD2.4827 billion), compared to $3.4525 billion
(JD2.4478 billion) during 2022 Khaberni reported.
