GAZA — 7 members of staff at the
Jordanian field hospital in Gaza have been injured following Israeli shelling in near the hospital according to the Jordan Armed Forces.

The official spokesperson of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Al-Qudah, stated that Jordan strongly condemns the Israeli shelling in the vicinity of the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza, which resulted in the injury of seven hospital staff members as they attempted to assist Palestinian citizens injured during Israeli bombardment.
The spokesperson for the ministry affirmed that Israel putting the Jordanian hospital and its teams at risk during its shelling of Palestinian brethren is a rejected and condemned crime, representing a clear violation of international law.
He mentioned that the Jordanian government holds the Israeli occupying forces fully responsible for endangering the lives of Jordanian medical teams.
Ambassador Al-Qudah mentioned that the government is awaiting the results of the investigation initiated by the Jordanian Armed Forces to take necessary legal and political steps against this heinous crime.
