The companies, specializing in sweets, chocolate,
spices, nuts and beverages, are showcasing their products through the
Jordan Exporters Association (JEA).
Emphasizing the importance of the event, JEA
President Ahmad Al-Khudari said the expo represents an opportunity for
Jordanian companies to get acquainted with new trading partners around the
world and access promising markets.
“Through Jordan’s 150sq.m. pavilion, the five-day
exhibition allows visitors from European countries to learn about local food
products,” he said. He noted that France is a gateway for Jordanian industrial
products into African markets.
Occurring every two
years, SIAL is a global food event featuring the world’s leading retail and
food service buyers in one location. It attracts more than 310,000 visitors
from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
