The report, which was published on Al Jazeera-Jordan’s Facebook page, ranked various countries' citizenship programs by the investment required and the number of countries that passport holders can visit visa-free.

To obtain a Jordanian passport, individuals must invest $1.5 million, and the resulting passport allows for visa-free travel to 53 countries. In comparison, Malta's program requires a $600,000 investment and enables passport holders to visit 186 countries without a visa, while Turkey's program requires a $400,000 investment and offers visa-free travel to 111 countries.

Greece's program requires a $250,000 investment and grants visa-free access to 186 countries, while Egypt's program requires the same investment and allows for travel to 53 countries without a visa. North Macedonia's program requires a $200,000 investment and provides visa-free access to 125 countries.

For those willing to invest in smaller, less well-known countries, Cambodia offers a passport for a $200,000 investment with visa-free travel to 54 countries, while Grenada's program requires a $150,000 investment and offers visa-free travel to 145 countries. Vanuatu's program requires a $130,000 investment and allows for visa-free travel to 97 countries.
