Jordanian peacekeeper laid to rest

AMMAN - Sergeant Ali Juma’a al-Jawabra, who was killed in Mali in the line of duty, was laid to rest, on Friday, in his hometown of al-Mukhaibah in Irbid, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra. The martyr was accorded full military honors as the body, draped in the national flag, was carried by comrades-in-arms to the burial site after prayers at a local mosque in al-Mukhaibah. Senior officials, officers and citizens attended the funeral.
