Jordanian students enrolled at Ukrainian universities could pursue degrees elsewhere-Ministry

AMMAN -The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on Thursday said students enrolled in Ukrainian universities, who have already returned to the Kingdom, could pursue their degrees in any other higher education institutions abroad, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

Students should check on those new universities' recognition status at Jordan's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, according to a ministry statement.

A number of Jordanian students enrolled at Ukrainian universities, who have recently returned home, have submitted applications to join other campuses abroad, the statement added.

The ministry said students can learn about recognized universities by entering the following link:
http://rce.mohe.gov.jo/RecognizedUniversities.

The ministry is following up, through full coordination and cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on the conditions of Jordanian students at Ukrainian universities.

In addition, the ministry's media spokesperson and director of the Unified Admission Coordination Unit, Mohannad Khatib, said the ministry calls on students to abide by all instructions issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates until their safe return to Jordan.

The higher education ministry also called on students to register "quickly" on its e-platform launched with the aim of recording their contact information, universities, specializations, and study levels by accessing the following link:
http://rce.mohe.gov.jo/ukraine.

To date, 271 students have registered their data on the e-platform, the majority are studying medicine and dentistry.
