Young entrepreneur Reema Diab has been selected as the first female Jordanian global ambassador for
artificial intelligence (AI), having received the highest award in the field
from Swiss Cognitive, the world's leading AI network.

Diab told the Jordan News Agency, Petra,
that she received the award and position after years of hard work and
leadership endeavors.
Global communitySwiss Cognitive, she explained, includes a
global community of business leaders and AI experts who lead the
development of AI forward and enhance the global economy.
The network is mandated to formulate
policies and create an AI-friendly infrastructure, encourage advanced research
in the sector, and promote cooperation between the public and private sectors,
including international institutions, to accelerate the
adoption of AI technologies.
Council of AI ambassadorsSwiss Cognitive has appointed 31
ambassadors from 21 countries and six continents to serve as a Council of
Ambassadors for Artificial Intelligence, carefully selected through scrutinizing their
contribution to research and studies related to artificial intelligence
technologies, she said.
The council, on which Diab now serving, was
formed to
implement AI strategy around the world. Its work includes three
phases, namely: attracting world-leading research capabilities to work in
targeted sectors; providing data and the basic supporting infrastructure
necessary to serve as a testing platform for artificial intelligence and ensure
strong governance and effective regulation; and contribute to the development
of legislation and strategies.

strategist Andy Fitz, to become a global community of experts and leaders
across the technology industry and the AI community, involving more than half a
