AMMAN —Thousands of Jordanians have gathered in downtown Amman following Friday prayers to denounce the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip, and the United States’ participation in the crime of genocide against the people of Gaza.

Participants demanded the expulsion of the US ambassador to Jordan, the closing of the US embassy in Amman, and the cancellation of the joint defense agreement with the United States, adding the US is a partner in the war on Gaza and not just a supporter of the occupation.
Demonstrators described President Joe Biden as a war criminal, demanding that he be tried before international and local courts, especially in light of casualties among Jordanians citizens in Gaza as a result of the Zionist-American aggression on Gaza.

While the participants praised the decision not to sign the water-for-electricity agreement with Israel, they stressed the necessity of continuing with the same spirit and moving towards canceling all agreements with "the enemy," especially the gas deal and the Wadi Araba agreement.
Thousands of Jordanians held a number of similar protests throughout the Kingdom.
