Amman - Following Friday prayer, a march supporting the Gaza Strip and Lebanon and condemning Israeli aggression was started from downtown Amman, with participation from a variety of Jordanian social groups.

The march's participants voiced their outrage and indignation at the atrocities carried out by the Israeli occupation forces in Gaza and Lebanon, which have resulted in thousands of martyrs and injuries.
The participants commended His Majesty King Abdullah II's leadership of Jordan for demonstrating a strong commitment to the Palestinian cause and for continuing to stand with the brothers in Gaza and Lebanon in their fight against the aggression, pointing out that the Kingdom consistently highlights the significance of Arab issues and the Palestinians' legitimate rights.
The participants emphasized that peaceful solutions are the best means of achieving lasting peace and thought that the recognition of Jordan's position and His Majesty King Abdullah II reflected the respect that Jordan enjoys from the international community for its active role in promoting security and peace in the region.
