Amman – The King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) recently hosted the Powering the Future of Cancer Care: The Intersection of AI, Surgery, and Robotics conference, an event aimed at advancing innovation in cancer treatment.اضافة اعلان

With over 400 participants, including surgeons, healthcare professionals, and experts in informatics technology, the conference brought together global leaders to discuss the latest developments in artificial intelligence, robotics, and advanced surgical techniques.

The event focused on the growing role of robotics in simplifying complex surgeries, allowing for greater precision with fewer complications and faster recovery times. Attendees had the chance to engage with the latest robotic surgical technologies and participate in simulators to better understand their practical applications.

Dr. Asem Mansour, Director General of the KHCC, emphasized the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration in tackling cancer's evolving challenges. He stressed that integrating medical expertise with cutting-edge technology is essential for improving cancer treatment outcomes, aiming for less invasive and more accurate procedures.

The conference also highlighted the transformative role of artificial intelligence in both cancer diagnosis and treatment. AI now allows for the analysis of large volumes of medical data, assisting doctors with early detection, surgical planning, and personalized treatment.

Dr. Mahmoud Masri, Conference Chair, noted that AI is no longer just an auxiliary tool but a strategic partner in enhancing the precision and efficiency of cancer care.
