AMMAN — The latest weather reports from the Jordan
Meteorological Department (JMD) indicate that Thursday will see a tangible rise
in temperatures across the Kingdom.

While mountainous areas will enjoy more moderate weather,
the Badia, plains, Jordan Valley, and Aqaba will experience relatively hot
conditions. Cloud formations at different altitudes are also anticipated,
accompanied by gentle southwesterly winds, as reported by the Jordan News
Agency, Petra.
Looking ahead to Friday, a Khamasini depression is set to
sweep through the country, leading to a significant surge in temperatures. The
mercury is expected to rise by 5°C-6°C above the average for this time of year.
Dusty and hot conditions will prevail throughout most
regions, with a potential for scattered showers accompanied by thunderstorms.
