The hospital has also added 10 operating devices, Al-Mamlaka
TV reported.
During a visit of a delegation including Czech Ambassador to
Jordan Josef Koutsky to the hospital, Ghazou said that the new beds and
equipment were purchased through a Czech grant to support the health sector.
The hospital has modernized a number of wards during the
current year, in conjunction with growing pressures on the hospital, Al-Ghazou
said.
The Czech ambassador noted that the medical equipment was
mainly for the intensive care unit and the maternity ward. The goals of the
grant, he said, were to improve the quality of health services, expand the
hospital’s capacity, and facilitate treatment of increasing influxes of
patients.
