King Affirms Jordan's Support for Syria's Efforts in Preserving Its Unity, Sovereignty, and Stability**
His Majesty King Abdullah II, in a phone call with British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer on Saturday, emphasized the urgent need for the international community to take immediate action to stop the Israeli attacks on Gaza and to commit to a ceasefire.
During the call, His Majesty stressed the importance of resuming the entry of humanitarian aid to Gaza to alleviate the worsening humanitarian crisis.
The King also reaffirmed Jordan's position in rejecting the displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
His Majesty warned of the dangers of continued assaults on Palestinians in the West Bank and the violations of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.
On the situation in Syria, His Majesty reaffirmed Jordan's support for Syria's efforts to maintain its unity, sovereignty, and stability.
