AMMAN —
Aqaba Development Corporation has
entered into several agreements with the Abu Dhabi Ports Group. These agreements
are related to the development and expansion of
King Hussein International Airport. Two proposals have been submitted for consideration, and negotiations
are currently ongoing, Al-Mamlaka reported.

Other projects
The construction of the International
Exhibition Center in Aqaba is also a vital component of Aqaba's tourism plan
according to the CEO of
Aqaba Development Corporation, Hussein Safadi.
Efforts are underway to supply natural gas
to the Al-Quwaira Development Zone. This strategic initiative is expected to
attract significant investment opportunities to the region, further enhancing
its economic potential.
They are also actively working on the
tendering process for the redevelopment of the Al-Dura Jordanian-Saudi border
crossing. This ambitious project, valued at JD22 million, is designed to
improve and modernize facilities for both passengers and trucks, facilitating
smoother cross-border transit.
