AMMAN — The Times of Israel reported that
the
King Hussein Bridge will begin operating round-the-clock starting in April
of 2023, after a trial program was completed earlier this month, according to
Khaberni.

The crossing’s director ordered its staff to prepare
to operate round-the-clock from Sundays at 8am until Fridays at 3:30pm, and on
Saturdays from 8am until 3:30pm, according to the Israeli newspaper. An
expanded schedule will be released on April 2 next year.
A trial was conducted from November 6 to November 10
to confirm the ability of crossing staff to operate the crossing
round-the-clock.
This followed
years of fixed-hour operations, causing long queues for
Palestinians who find
it difficult to obtain permits to travel to and from Ben Gurion Airport, thus
leading them to travel to and from Amman.
