Amman, His Majesty King Abdullah II inaugurated today, Monday, the new headquarters of the Jordan Bar Association, coinciding with its Diamond Jubilee celebration.اضافة اعلان

The headquarters, located in the Jabal Amman area, houses the Bar Association’s Training Institute, arbitration and mediation halls, a legal studies center, legal aid facilities, and secure investment units.

During the opening, His Majesty listened to an explanation from the Jordan Bar Association’s President, Yahya Abu Aboud, who highlighted that the new building is part of the association's ongoing efforts to improve its work. He mentioned that the association has completed an electronic archiving system for nearly 9 million documents and established a comprehensive electronic portal to offer various services.

Abu Aboud praised His Majesty's support and his interest in enhancing courts and litigation procedures, as well as strengthening judicial independence. He noted that the association has been supported by the leadership since the late King Abdullah I inaugurated its first headquarters in 1951.

The opening ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, Speaker of the House of Representatives Ahmed Al-Safadi, Head of the Judicial Council Mahmoud Al-Ababneh, President of the Constitutional Court Mohammad Al-Ghazo, Royal Court Chief Yousef Hassan Al-Eisawi, Director of the King’s Office Engineer Alaa Al-Battayneh, and a number of senior civilian and military officials.
