AMMAN — King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of
Sweden and Princess Rym Ali, the escort of honor, on Thursday visited Za'atari camp for Syrian refugees, to check on the camp's conditions and services provided by the Kingdom and the organizations operating in the temporary facility, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The Public Prosecutor charged the eight individuals with offense of rioting, causing damage and sabotage at sports facilities, in accordance with provisions of Article 467/2 of Jordan's Penal Code.
During their tour, Their Majesties were briefed from the camp's administration, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), UNICEF and the World Food Programme (WFP) on the services provided to refugees, especially in the education and food areas.
Their Majesties and the accompanying delegation also visited Hind Bint Amr School to learn firsthand on educational services provided to the camp's children.
School administration highlighted progress of the teaching process, as students spoke about their future aspirations.
In addition, Their Majesties toured the camp's community center to learn about the social services provided by UNHCR and other organizations to Syrian refugees.
Their Majesties listened to one of the Syrian refugee families on the refugees' key needs and difficulties facing them.
Concluding their tour, Their Majesties met a refugee student who is studying at a private university, and expressed their admiration for her excellence.
