King, UAE president discuss dangerous escalation in Gaza

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday received a call from United Arab Emirates President Mohamed bin Zayed, which covered the dangerous escalation in Gaza and means to deliver humanitarian aid to the Palestinians, according to a Royal Court statement.اضافة اعلان

King Abdullah urged joint efforts to galvanize international support for stopping the war on Gaza and stepping up efforts to protect civilians and respect international humanitarian law.

His Majesty warned against Israeli attempts to displace or force the internal displacement of the Palestinian people.

The phone call also covered the importance of maintaining Arab coordination and unifying efforts to protect the Palestinians and prevent the exacerbation of the situation in Gaza and its spill-over into the West Bank.
