During a joint statement with French President Emmanuel Macron, His Majesty emphasized that Israel's attacks, along with its blocking of aid, water, and electricity to Gaza, are escalating measures that endanger the lives of the already vulnerable population. He stressed the need to restore the ceasefire and allow humanitarian aid to resume immediately.

King Abdullah further noted that the displacement of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza threatens to widen the conflict and increase instability in the region. He pointed out that Israel's resumption of attacks on Gaza is a dangerous step, adding further destruction to the already dire humanitarian situation.

His Majesty called on the international community to act urgently and intensify collective efforts to restore the ceasefire and implement all its stages.

King Abdullah emphasized that Jordan has devoted significant efforts to provide aid to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza through all means, both by land and air. He highlighted that medical evacuations for children, patients, and those with serious injuries for treatment in Jordan have already begun.

The King also called for an immediate halt to the dangerous escalation in the West Bank, where more than 40,000 Palestinians have been displaced this year.

He reiterated that the political solution leading to peace, based on the two-state solution, is the only way to ensure the security of both Palestinians and Israelis, as well as the entire region.

His Majesty also expressed Jordan's gratitude for France's support of the Arab plan for the reconstruction of Gaza. The shared goal is to provide an effective framework that supports the rights, security, and safety of the Palestinian people.

King Abdullah concluded by stating that Jordan wants to see a stable and unified Syria. He explained that Jordan supports Syria's efforts to maintain its security, stability, territorial integrity, and the protection of its citizens. He also highlighted that Syria urgently needs international support for its reconstruction efforts and the establishment of the right conditions for the voluntary and safe return of refugees.
