AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme
Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (
JAF), on Monday at the Royal
Jordanian National Defense College, attended the graduation of the 18th
National Defense Program, master's in “Management and Strategic Studies”, and
the 4th class of the master’s program in “Strategies to Confront Extremism and
Terrorism.”

The two programs saw participation from JAF and security
agencies’ personnel, employees from ministries and national institutions, and
officers from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, and
Pakistan, a statement from the Royal Court said.
King Abdullah was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs
of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Hneiti and the commandant of the college.
His Majesty also signed the guestbook at the college,
expressing pride in the advanced level of academic and military programs at the
Royal Jordanian National Defense College, according to the statement.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Their Royal
Highnesses Princes Feisal bin Al Hussein and Rashid bin El Hassan; Prime
Minister and Minister of Defense Bisher Khasawneh; Royal Hashemite Court Chief
Yousef Issawi; Public Security Directorate Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh;
the Royal Jordanian Air Force commander; Mutah University president; and the
military attachés of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Pakistan.
