King departs for Vatican, UK

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah left on Wednesday for a visit to Vatican City and the UK, according to a Royal Court statement.اضافة اعلان

In the Vatican, King Abdullah is scheduled to meet with Pope Francis and Holy See Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin on Thursday.

In London, His Majesty will meet with King Charles III of the UK on Thursday, and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Friday.

HRH Crown Prince Hussein was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of Cabinet members.
