AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday received Prime
Minister of the Libyan National Unity Government Abdulhamid Aldabaiba, at Al
Husseiniya Palace.

The meeting
covered means of advancing bilateral ties in various fields in service of the
two countries’ mutual interests and peoples.
During the
meeting, King Abdullah reaffirmed that Jordan stands with Libya and supports
political efforts that safeguard its unity, security, and stability, and fulfil
the aspirations of its people.
The Jordanian and Libyan prime ministers also met on
Sunday, where Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh and Prime Minister Aldabaiba agreed to form a committee tasked
with addressing the issue of medical bills owed to Jordanian hospitals by
Libyan citizens.
The meeting, which was attended by officials from both sides, agreed that
Jordanian and Libyan health ministers should sit together to draw plans to
rehabilitate and develop Libyan health workers, where Jordan would offer its
expertise in that area.
Khasawneh emphasized the importance of enhancing Jordan-Libya cooperation and
coordination on all levels, and he stressed Jordan's support for political
conciliation.
He underscored Jordan's keenness to place its expertise and capabilities at the
disposal of Libya's government.
He also highlighted King Abdullah's message in a meeting with Aldabaiba earlier in
the day.
For his part, Aldabaiba highlighted Jordan's regional role and His Majesty's role in finding solutions
to regional and international challenges.
He also lauded the both countries ties, emphasizing the need for further
cooperation and coordination between the two countries on many issues and
areas.
He also said Libya is keen to involve Jordan in the efforts to rebuild Libya.
