AMMAN — His
Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday received UK Chief of Defense Staff’s Senior Adviser
to the Middle East and North Africa Air Marshal Martin Sampson at
Al-Husseiniya Palace, according to a Royal Court statement.
The
meeting covered the dangerous situation in Gaza, with King Abdullah stressing the need for an international effort to pressure Israel to stop the war on
Gaza, protect civilians, end the siege, and guarantee the delivery of
humanitarian aid.

Bilateral
relations between the two countries were also discussed in the meeting,
attended by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti.
