King to U.S. Congressional Delegation: We Reject Any Attempts of Displacement

His Majesty King Abdullah II met with a U.S. House of Representatives delegation on Thursday, led by Representative Darrell Issa, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, to discuss key regional developments.اضافة اعلان

In the presence of Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, His Majesty warned of the dangers of escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

The King emphasized the need for intensified international efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution, highlighting the pivotal role of the United States in advancing these efforts.

Reaffirming Jordan’s rejection of any attempts to forcibly displace Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, His Majesty stressed the importance of maintaining a ceasefire in Gaza and enhancing humanitarian response efforts.

The meeting also covered the strategic partnership between Jordan and the U.S. and ways to further strengthen it.
