The project was delivered in cooperation with the International Islamic Charity Organization and the Al-Koura Awqaf Directorate.

The water harvesting project consists of digging and equipping five wells to collect rainwater in a number of mosques within the Koura Awqaf Directorate in order to achieve water abundance for the needs of mosques and citizens.

Al-Marri expressed his happiness for the official and public cooperation between the two countries and their leaders, adding that this demonstrates the level of friendship and mutual respect between the two brotherly countries.

For his part, Al-Koura District Administrator, Basem Khalaileh, said that this project is a fraternal project between the two countries through the International Islamic Charity Organization and reflects the size of the bond between the two countries' leadership and people.

In turn, the Director of Awqaf of the Koura District, Sheikh Khaled Bani Yassin, lauded the efforts exerted by the International Islamic Charity Organization, represented by Kuwait, by providing support for a number of projects, including charitable endowment, mosque maintenance, and water harvesting, thanking Kuwait's Ambassador and the International Islamic Charity Organization and his pride in this partnership.

In turn, Director of the International Islamic Charity Organization office in Jordan, Mustafa Al-Awad, said that the field studies conducted by the organization indicate a water issue at the regional level, and efforts were intensified to strengthen the partnership with the Awqaf Ministry through its mosques, as they are public property to be a host for rainwater collection projects to benefit the mosque, its facilities, worshipers and citizens, so the opening of this project was a result of that.
