During a meeting on Wednesday, Istitieh highlighted the importance of developing training skills required in the labor market, noting the need to establish sectoral councils in partnership with the private sector. He also urged women's and disabled people's involvement in the labor market as their participation percentages had dropped.

For his part, Quinn underscored partnerships with the private sector and the need for a comprehensive policy in decision-making while also calling for integrating people with disabilities into the Jordanian labor market.

The Ministry's Secretary General Farouk Hadidi pointed to an employment system for people with disabilities launched by the ministry in 2020 and its role in regulating the labor market, explaining that the system aims to educate people, especially employers, more on disability matters.
