Land collapses on Italian Street, no injuries reported

AMMAN — A five-meter long section of land along Italian Street in the capital Amman collapsed on Saturday as a direct result of excavations carried out at an adjacent plot of land to the street, according to a source at Amman Municipality, Al-Ghad News reported.اضافة اعلان

The municipality said that it has taken all precautionary measures to ensure public safety in the area, and that the collapse did not result in any human casualties.

The source said that the collapse occurred as the owner of the adjacent land was clearing and removing old walls on his land.

The source pointed out that a committee of public safety and concerned authorities were present at the site to assess the severity of the collapse, stressing that the collapse did not result in any damage.
