This initiative aims to facilitate access to monthly medications for chronic disease patients by delivering them directly to their homes. The service is designed to ease the burden of personally visiting hospitals and health centers, saving time, effort, and costs, while also helping to reduce overcrowding in healthcare facilities.

Patients who wish to use this service can download the “MyHakeem” app on their smartphones (available for both Android and iOS systems in Arabic and English), or access the online platform at myhakeem.jo.

The MyHakeem app allows patients to view their medical records stored in the Hakeem system, including current medications, allergies, immunizations, lab results, vital signs, and radiology reports.

The Royal Medical Services Directorate urges all patients at the targeted hospitals to register on the MyHakeem app and take advantage of the medication delivery service, highlighting its positive impact on improving healthcare quality, maintaining treatment continuity, and ensuring timely and consistent access to medications.

It is worth noting that this delivery service is already in operation at hospitals within the King Hussein Medical Center, where it is carried out by a licensed delivery company. The Royal Medical Services has also granted authorization to contract with the Jordan Post Company to fulfill this service, adhering to international safety and health standards during the transportation and delivery of medications.
