The electronic environmental inspection system aims to develop the environmental and service inspection mechanisms within the city of Amman by digitizing procedures and facilitating communication between various concerned departments. It also contributes to faster and more accurate processing of environmental and operational observations, while improving cleanliness and services in the city.

Dr. Al-Shawarbeh stated that the system operates through inspectors from the City Services Department, who conduct inspection tours in various areas of Amman to quickly and effectively monitor environmental observations or cleanliness-related issues and the general appearance of the city. The inspectors record these observations electronically and directly, then send them to the relevant department, whether district or service department. This allows the concerned department to quickly address the observations and take appropriate actions.

He added that the system contributes to raising the overall satisfaction level of the city's residents through prompt response to observations and efficient resolution, reflecting the commitment of the Greater Amman Municipality to improve the quality of services. This effective response strengthens citizens' trust in the municipality, as they feel the seriousness of the work and the speed of solution implementation. Additionally, the quicker processing of environmental observations reduces their recurrence, which helps improve cleanliness levels and maintain a healthy and sustainable environment for all.

He emphasized that this integration between speed of execution and quality of performance contributes to enhancing the relationship between the citizens and the municipality, reflecting the efforts made to achieve a clean environment and high service efficiency.

For his part, the Director of the City Services Department, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Habarnah, pointed out that the system aims to improve the efficiency of the inspection process by providing inspectors with more time to monitor observations, rather than returning to the center to manually record reports. It ensures a faster response in providing observations to the concerned departments and enhances the efficiency of responding to them. Additionally, it strengthens coordination and effective collaboration between the departments of the Greater Amman Municipality, such as the City Services Department, regions, and service departments, to ensure more effective implementation of the observations.

The system also enables performance analysis by providing accurate analytical and operational reports on the performance of districts and department heads, which helps identify weaknesses and improve service quality, as well as reducing the need for administrative staff.
