AMMAN — The Levitate Conference and Exhibition kicked off on Sunday as the premier event for the
drone industry in the Kingdom and the region. The two-day conference featuring participants from all around the region and the international community brings together drone enthusiasts, sector leaders, companies, government officials, and military leaders.

During the opening ceremony
Minister of Digital Economy Ahmad Hanandeh highlighted that the Arab region is witnessing the rapid use of smart robotic
technologies in various sectors, especially innovative solutions provided by
drone technology, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
Accelerate and forge economic alliancesMeanwhile,
Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX) Vice Chariman and Director General of Jordan Design and Development Bureau, Ayman Al-Batran articulated the conference’s broader vision – a collaboration of regional and international partners, aligning with His Majesty
King Abdullah’s directive to accelerate development and forge economic alliances that involve technology companies, legislative authorities, government entities, and security institutions.
Deputizing for His Majesty King Abudllah,
HRH Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein led the opening and took a tour exhibition’s facilities, where he was briefed on the latest drone technologies in Kingdom and the region.
Also in attendance of the opening ceremony was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Huneiti, Director of General of Intelligence, Major General Ahmad Hosni and Public Security Director, Major General Obaidullah Maaytah.
