AMMAN — Licensed real estate were up by 92 percent
during the first five months of this year, compared to the same period last
year, according to statistics by the Jordan Engineers Association (
JEA).

Head of the engineering offices commission, Abdullah Ghosheh, said that licensed property reached 4.5 million square meters,
which is close to the rate reached in 2015, adding that property sales
increased by 35 percent this year, according to data from the Department of
Land and Survey.
Ghosheh stressed that following the recovery from the
COVID-19 pandemic, further increase is expected to be observed, in line with
population demand and real estate studies.
