AMMAN — The
Public Freedoms and Human Rights Committee in the Lower
House has launched a hotline for citizens to report complaints and issues
related to human rights. The announcement was made by committee head MP Bassam
Fayez on Wednesday.

Individuals can reach the committee by calling or m
essaging the WhatsApp number, 0792101110. They can submit their complaints in written form
or as photos, videos, or audio recordings, according to Ammon News.
The committee will study and verify all the complaints before
taking any action.
Improving communicationThe hotline is part of the committee's efforts to improve
communication with citizens who face difficulty in reaching the relevant
authorities, ensuring that the complaints and observations received will be
kept confidential.
Fayez also emphasized the committee's commitment to human rights,
stating that all complaints and observations will be forwarded to the
National Center for Human Rights and civil society institutions.
The aim is to activate their role in enhancing the human rights
situation in Jordan, making sure that all citizens are heard and their rights
are protected.
The committee aims to reach all Jordanians through this initiative
and strengthen trust between the
House of Representatives and citizens.
