During his intervention in the parliament session, Al-Armouti emphasized that all national parties, whether Islamic, nationalist, or leftist, belong to the nation and work to serve it. He warned against malicious media attempting to sow discord and create internal divisions to serve Zionist projects and foreign agendas.
Al-Armouti pointed out that in 1956, it was claimed that the Islamic movement had "fallen into the embrace of the regime", defending the system, its security, existence, and entity—something which both supporters and opponents testify to.
He further stated that all Jordanians stood united against resettlement, leasing, and any threat to the nation, emphasizing that these issues are red lines that cannot be crossed. He noted that both the official and popular stance in Jordan has always been clear on these matters.
In conclusion, Al-Armouti expressed his hope for an upcoming meeting between the Islamic movement and King Abdullah II, affirming that the King is open to everyone and listens to diverse opinions. He reiterated that the Islamic movement has always defended the security and stability of Jordan and will continue to be aligned with the nation's interests.
