AMMAN — MP Habis Al-Shabib complained
about the government seizing a group of vehicles owned by bedouins, according
to Khaberni.اضافة اعلان
The Public Security Directorate seized 250 cars
belonging to residents in Al-Ruwaished, in the Northern Badia, a move Shabib
called a “double standard”, stating that the government has taken measures
against bedouins on the pretext that they “are smugglers and do not have the
right to use modern vehicles”.
Shabib also talked about the poverty and inflation
that “have eaten away at families in the Badia and the Jordan Valley”.
Thirty-six percent of Jordan’s inmates are from the
Northern badia, he said, likening their situation to that of Syrians in the
Kingdom.
