AMMAN — MP Muhammad Inad Al-Fayez revealed
his intention to submit his resignation from the House of Representatives,
given his inability to continue in light of the legislature’s current
performance, according to Jo24.

Fayez told Jo24 that he
has reservations about the laws that the Lower House has passed recently,
which, in his opinion, “are not in Jordan’s interest,” noting that “it is
unreasonable for the election law to be passed without discussion and within
only two days”.
He said that he feels that the recently approved laws are
the result of external dictates, stressing that “political parties cannot be a
substitute to social components, and the principle for increasing the
representation of political parties should be gradual.”
