Amman - The Madrasati Initiative has successfully concluded its project aimed at enhancing the quality of education through creating safe school environments across 100 public schools in six directorates (Ahmadabad, Na'ur, Ain al-Basha, Southern Mazar, Ajloun, and al-Mazar).

During a ceremony attended by European Union Ambassador Patrick Lambrechts and several ministry cadres, Minister of Education Azmi Mahafzah emphasized that the project complements ongoing efforts by the ministry to develop plans that improve school environments and promote community engagement as part of the school and directorate development program.
Mahafzah highlighted that the Madrasati Initiative programs have empowered parents through development committees, fostering stronger relationships between families and schools. This initiative has positively influenced student behavior and strengthened a sense of responsibility among students.
Ambassador Lambrechts underscored that this project aligns with the European Union's support for Jordan's endeavors to enhance education quality, promote community partnerships, and involve parents in development plans.
Tala Sweis, the Initiative's director, expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Education, the EU Mission, and all project participants for their collaborative efforts and support in ensuring the project's success.
Sweis also reviewed the project's significant impacts on schools, teaching staff, parents, and students during the ceremony, which included presentations on the project's outcomes.
These outcomes notably included improvements in education quality through enhanced parental and community involvement in developing and implementing programs that foster 21st-century skills and promote community partnerships, alongside awareness campaigns aimed at reducing bullying incidents.
