AMMAN — A
complaints committee at the Jordan Media Commission (JMC) recommended informing
viewers of the age rating for all televised programs, according to Jordan News
Agency, Petra.

In an annual report
released on Wednesday, a group of specialists and experts in law and media
suggested indicating the age rating for any televised programs, showing
programs that are inappropriate for children after 10 pm and advising viewers
on content that may contain violence or horror. They also called for raising
awareness about the ethics of publishing content through the commission
courses.
Moreover, the experts urged coordination among relevant
ministries and institutions when a movie or a series is filmed or produced on
Jordanian territory, to ensure compliance with the law.
