DUBAI – On Monday, the Director-General of the WHO, Dr.

During Dubai’s World Government Summit, Dr. Ghebreyesus
expressed particular concern about the recent
Israeli attacks on Rafah, where
most of the population has fled. He also highlighted that only 15 out of 36
hospitals in Gaza are still operating partially or at minimum capacity. Relief
workers are doing their utmost under unimaginable circumstances.
He emphasized that the WHO has delivered 447 tonnes of
medical supplies to Gaza thus far, and called for an immediate ceasefire in the
Strip.
