AMMAN — The Ministry of Health is dispensing medication for chronically ill patients at Jabal
Luweibdeh and Abu Nseir health centers, in addition to Al-Bashir hospital,
according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
In a statement on Sunday, the ministry said that those who
wish to use the service should download the “My Hakeem” application for smart
gadgets or, alternately, visit myhakeem.jo for registration. However, it added
that, the process requires a one-off visit to the health facility that has the
patients’ files.
The project, dubbed “Your health, and comfort, are a priority”, aims at
helping chronically ill patients order their medication and pay for it online,
sparing them time and effort, and reducing congestion at healthcare facilities.
