AMMAN (JNews) — The Ministry of Public Works and Housing announced that it will put a medium-level emergency plan into effect on Friday morning due to foreseen weather instability expected to impact the Kingdom, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

On Saturday, the ministry released a press statement stressing its readiness to deal with the expected weather conditions. It plans to solve any complaints around the clock through 98 teams across the Kingdom.
The ministry issued a circular to all its offices and departments across the Kingdom to prepare to deal with the forecasted weather conditions and to conduct regular checks to all areas.
It also stressed the importance of continuous coordination with the ministry’s partners to respond immediately to all complaints and to maintain providing services for people in accordance with the government approach.
The ministry warned people to be careful and to stay away from torrent formations and valleys, especially in the Dead Sea. They also stressed driving safely on external roads due to the low-horizontal visibility and warned of the possibility of dust formation and heavy rainfall in the Badiah region.
