AMMAN — The
Mexican Embassy in Jordan, in presence of the
Mexican ambassador, Roberto Hernandez, celebrated the 48th anniversary of the
establishment of Jordanian-Mexican diplomatic relations.

The ceremony saw the announcement of the new Arabic
translation of the 2nd edition of “Compact history of Mexico,” Jordan News
Agency, Petra reported.
According to an embassy statement issued on Sunday, the book
features details on Mexico's history, which was completed with support from the
Mexican Foreign Ministry, Mexican Embassy in Egypt, and the
Jordanian-Mexican Friendship Association.
At the celebration, they performed the folk song
"
Ballet Folklorico Amor de Mexico," led by the artist Lolita
Menchaca, alongside a traditional dance routine.
The ceremony was attended remotely by director of the
department of north american affairs at the Jordanian
ministry of foreign affairs, Sabah Rafei, the Kingdom's ambassador to Mexico, Adly Khalidi, members
of the diplomatic corps in Jordan, and members of international and local
organizations.
