Mustafa said that
the recently passed legislative amendments are essential to stimulate political
party development, promote a democratic environment, and empower women,
stressing the importance of following up on these outcomes and urging all
political forces to work together to achieve them.
She also stressed the importance of offering support
and guidance to political parties to increase women’s participation in
political life, stating that Jordan could benefit from the expertise of other
countries where women face challenges.
Ambassador Brind commended Jordan’s efforts to
develop its political system, including constitutional amendments and the
passage of the elections and political parties laws, which open new horizons

Women’s participation in political work, she pointed
out, would help produce better decisions, highlighting the British government’s
