AMMAN
— Minister of State for Media Affairs
and government spokesperson Sakher Dudin on Tuesday visited the National Media
Authority and the National Authority of Press in Egypt.

The minister made the trips before
he participates in the 51st round of the Arab Council for
Information Ministers, which is set to take place Wednesday, in the
Arab League headquarters in Cairo.
Dudin met with the president of
the National Media Authority, Hussein Zain, and discussed means of
cooperation, according to the Prime Ministry’s
Facebook page.
Acknowledging Egypt’s history in
media and production, Dudin stressed the importance of benefiting from this
experience in documenting the fraternal ties among the Arab people.
Dudin also emphasized the
importance of finding new ways to increase Arabic-speaking content on the
internet.
The minister then met with president
of the National Authority of Press Abd Al-Sadiq Shorabji, and the two
discussed the challenges facing journalism.
