Dr. Al-Hawari, accompanied by Irbid Governor Radwan Al-Atoum and the two Secretary Generals of the Ministry of Health – Dr. Ilham Al-Khreisat for administrative and technical affairs, and Dr. Raed Al-Shoboul for primary health care and epidemics – toured the departments of the new hospital project. He emphasized the need for the plans for operating the new facility, upon final handover, to ensure that healthcare services are not disrupted during the transition.

He explained that the hospital's operational plan will be gradual to ensure that health services are not interrupted during the relocation of medical devices, furniture, and staff from the old building to the new one. The hospital will also be equipped with modern medical devices, and additional required staff will be hired in line with the Ministry of Health's new approach for opening and operating health facilities gradually, with the aim of training and qualifying healthcare workers to ensure high readiness for full operation.

The Minister of Health affirmed that the new Princess Basma Hospital project has been designed to efficiently serve its patients and to serve as a referral center for all Ministry of Health hospitals. He added that the hospital will be equipped with modern medical devices to enable it to provide the necessary healthcare services.

Dr. Al-Hawari emphasized that the Ministry of Health is committed to improving the provision of medical services across all its hospitals and health centers, enhancing the efficiency and readiness of its infrastructure, and ultimately providing the best possible services to patients and visitors.
