AMMAN —
Minister of Investment, Kholoud Al-Saqqaf, and U.S.
Ambassador to Jordan,
Yael Lempert, held a meeting to discuss mutual investment
concerns, Ammon News reported.

Saqqaf outlined Jordan's investment policy, which aims at
economic growth, job creation, improved competitiveness, and a favorable
business environment. This was followed by a description of the Kingdom’s
Economic Reform Vision 2033, targeting 5.6 percent
GDP growth and higher rates
of employment, to the ambassador.
Ambassador Lempert expressed full
U.S. Embassy support for Jordan's investment goals. U.S. investments under the
Investment Environment Law total around $1.1 billion, primarily in energy, telecommunications, IT,
services, and industry sectors.
